Our Mission
Our mission is to relieve the suffering of poverty in Middle Eastern and North African countries by leveraging our strengths within the diaspora to provide nutritional, medical, educational, and financial assistance.
About Us
Mid East Charity is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Orange County, California. We strive to help those afflicted by poverty in the Middle East and North Africa by bringing our community and its resources together to serve the underserved. As a non-religious and secular nonprofit, we help all people regardless of race, religion, or background. Through our Family Sponsorship program, we work together to ensure that the hungry are fed, the young are educated, the sick are healed, and the wrongly imprisoned are freed.

We envision a world where those who suffer are reached and have their basic needs met, so that they can concentrate on lifitng their families out of poverty.

History
Mid East Charity was founded in 2019 with a mission to help those in need in the Middle East. In 2021, we established a nonprofit in Egypt and worked closely with local organizations to ensure that our efforts had the greatest impact. Our goal was, and still is, to collect donations from the US and provide essential resources such as food, medical services, and legal aid to those in need.
The founder of Mid East Charity started this organization out of a desire to help those in difficult circumstances. They saw that the US Dollar had significant buying power in the region, and with a contribution as small as 20% of a person’s salary, they could make a real difference. Our organization is secular and interreligious, and we believe that everyone deserves access to essential resources, regardless of their background.
At Mid East Charity, we take pride in our ability to form personal connections with those we serve. We offer sponsors the opportunity to choose the families they would like to help and follow their journey over time. Additionally, we ramp up our food program during the Ramadan and Lent seasons to make sure those in need have access to sustenance during these
